Here is the story:

Normaly my bar opens at 14h, but i had a group for soup at 12h30. So yeah, i was chilling, baking my bread, the group entered, my dad was painting upstairs at the apartement where he was still working at...
I went upstairs to ask him to help for the group... But unfortunately. I found him back, lying on the ground, bleading heavily. Blood everywhere, and paint... I went down in a hurry, to call 911 (112 in belgium).
I went upstairs again, he was lying there for already 30 minutes... Crying and screaming after me. I turned him around because he asked me to do. Catched up a cushion for him, and took some wc paper to stop the bleeding...
He was looking in my eyes, and said while crying: Simon, i'll be paralyzed for the rest of my life.... He couldn't move anything, didn't feel anything, nothing... Ambulance had to come from 25km because it was the closest hospital. Then the firemen came to take him from the balcony to the floor with the firetruck... Worst 1 hour in my entire (short) life... I've seen alot for my age, but this, never... I still see him in my head, lying there and bleeding like a dog, just terrible... He's doing better now, he can move 1 arm, and 1 leg, but he can't move his hands anymore... His pelvis is broken and his wrist... I just hope that he won't be paralyzed... I was so lucky that i had the group at 12h30... If i would have arrived there at 14h (and i wasn't going to go upstairs right away...) he would've died... On the other side, i'm happy that i found him on time, this means alot to me, Son saves dads life... I'll understand that alot of people won't read this, but people who've readed it, respect.... Life is terrible sometimes, and has been terrible most of my life. But at the other side, its making me stronger...
